I encoded Scorpion King using TMPGE with v-dub frame serving and now I'm trying to encode tonight with CCE. I noticed that the movie had pretty good clarity during the day time scenes but during the night time scenes the blackness merged into everything including the actors. I'm looking for a virtual dub plugin or filter that can fix this problem. Please provide a sample text line. Any help would be apreciated

    thanks in advance,

Try the "Histogram Equalisation Filter" it has slider controls and a preview which makes finding the right settings easy. Be carful not to push the filter too high or you'll wash-out the video, but with careful adjustment you can get a good balance between light & dark scenes.

Get it from here -> http://shelob.mordor.net/dgraft/histogram.html

  4. put it in the folder > plugins inside your vdub folder.
then load video you want, now under > video > filters > add> load> find your plugin
double click on it and your set
