    I just want to let everyone know that I was able to burn at 4x on my Sony DRU500-AX burner right out of the box, nothing else done. It fluctuated between 3.9x and 4.1x with Firmware 2.0c.

    My firmware is 2.0c. This is out of the box when I bought it at a computer show about a month ago... I have not touched the firmware. This is how the drive came.

    Is there anywhere you can download the 2.0c firmware?
    sonydru500a.com only has 2.0e (and 1.0x) available.
