Just wondering? I've always used bicubic because everyone says it is the best, but I'm wondering as its effects towards anime IE- hand drawn movies. Is it also optimal or will something else yeild me better quality? Thanks

Don't know. All I can say is try out each setting on a chapter and check out the results and see whats better. If you do, tell us what is better.
GOOD LUCK

why don't you try and let us know the results?
btw: bicubic is not the best way
reduce-by-two ist the best way.
when possible.
when doing VCD you can almost ever use reduce-by-2.
