Really dumb question, stemming from my overall lack of knowledge of how this player works.

I used to have a solid install of this program (KMPlayer). It did everything I wanted, except for vsync, which I have only been able to achieve with MPCHC's "alternate vsync". Unfortunately, MPCHC is lacking in a lot of "duh" features, such as A/B repeat, so I often have to return to KMPlayer.

One day, KMPlayer stopped playing DVDs from their VIDEO_TS.IFO file. It would load the first frame, and freeze. There was nothing that could be done to get it to work again. Playing individual VOBs would work, but this was not seamless. So I did something stupid: I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it.

And now scaling is messed up. It wants to use nearest neighbor and it completely ignores what I pick under "Video (Advanced) -> VMR9 Video Scaler". Obviously this looks pretty ugly. No clue how to make it happy with bicubic.

Close the thread. I found a workaround.
