I have several xvid-fov.avi-files I can't get to play properly although AviCodec and gSpot both tell me the files are okay, the formats are supported, no errors showed up, etc.
But when I play the files in WMP the picture is mostly green and when I try to convert with TMPGenc I'm told the format is not supported or the file can't be opened.
Does anyone know what this is?
Edited to say: someone told me to install ffdshow, which I did. Now the picture is no longer green but very distorted and WMP gives me the following error
AppName: wmplayer.exe AppVer: 8.0.0.4487 ModName: xvid.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0001d4c3
And I still can't convert it!
