  1. I just got Nero and it hasn't worked yet. I tried adding IFO files and when I try to play it, it reads Disc Error. Then I encoded the movie for 20 freakin' hours and added mpg file instead, and again when attempting to play it shows Disc Error. I tried it in my Mintek DVD player, and in my PS2, it's a no go in both. Do I not have something set correctly? I spent $50 on this shit and I'm going insane because I can't use it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You have used the correct settings? You need to select "DVD Video", ok?

You probably did. But if you want to get helped you really need to give more info about your settings, what you selected, what you did, etc...
I see this "problem" a lot on forums.

It could be a 100 reasons why you're disc isn't working....

  4. Sorry I should have been more specific. I tried selecting DVD video and I tried it with DVD data disc. I tried ripping and converting various ways. The last time I ripped with the DVD2one trial, selected DVD ISO in Nero, added my files and burned. I still received a disc error when trying to play.

  5. Need more input ....

    1) Does the DVD play on your PC?
    2) WHat make/model DVD player do you have?
    3) Is the media you are using compatible with your player?

Answer these & I'll have another think!!

  6. I have a Mintek 1600 and a PS2. The DVD did play on my PC. The meduim I use has never had a problem before using Nero. I did use Sonic My DVD, but you could fit very much on disc with the program. And the couple of ISO burns that I tried on DVD Decryptor have played flawlessly, that's this Nero thing is such a head stratcher. I hope this is the info you need and thank you for your help.
