  3. You didn't say which version of CCE you are using. CCE SP 2.50 have a crash problem with Athlon CPUs. You need to add a "resample audio" line in your Avisynth script to avoid it, assuming you are using Avisynth. Or you better upgrade to newest CCE SP.

  4. CCE 2.5...overlooked that

What I am trying to do is convert large files with canopus dv convertor, (in Studio 8, for the sake of simplicity) filter them in Vdub (newest) and then encode them to MPEG II to put on DVD +R/+RW

Main problem is VDUB...using simple filters (static noise filters and so on) the plain or MMX versions..no difference...VDUB crashes with a access violation. Tried the Pinnacle DV codec and HUFFYUV for this...

When procesing small pieces...no problem (in the beginning) but somewhere along the way it always crashes...it takes a lot of time putting the pieces together again...

Am now installing newest AMD 760 IDE drivers and trying the canopus dv convertor on the AVI before processing thrue Vdub.

    Perhaps it's some pinnacle glitch.

I'll let ya know the outcome.
