I have a bin file that I cannot delete from my hard drive. Each time I try to it says that someone else or another program is using it.
I have tried to delete it in safe mode but this doesn't work either. Any suggestions please.

Boot up into MS-DOS. Navigate to the folder and delete that stubborn little bastard.

do you have clonecd , daemon tools or any other phqantom cd drive installed?
Isn't this file mounted by that software?

Thanks for your reply. Not too familiar with MSDos. How do I find the folder.

I did have clone but not any more.

Don't delete it. I'm using it...

So did it work when you closed clonecd?? Try rename it and if it works you should be able to delete it.

It won't let me rename it because it says it is being used by another person or programme.
