OK, this is following up from my last topic . . . I wasn't getting any audio with my burned (S)VCDs on my Philips 724.

I've fooled around with the player a little bit more and have found that if I don't use the composite audio connection and just use the standard audio out my (S)VCDs work fine, including the audio.

Using the composite audio connection I do not get sound with my (S)VCDs. However using an ISO CD-ROM with MP3 files (128kbps) works just fine.

Is there a minimum audio setting that has to be used for audio to work using composite connection? My MPEG file that I am testing with has the following properties (taken from TMPGEnc):

MPEG-2 352x240 29.97fps CBR 2000kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 192kbps

Again, any help would be appreciated.
