Hi, I have a 1080i tv with DVI input only and no digital audio input/receiver in this room, Can I run a HDMI to DVI converter to my tv, but get audio through the composite output, or does this DVD player only run the audio through HDMI when video is output through it?
Also, If my tv doesn't support HDCP (I'm assuming it doesn't since its a few years old and only has DVI input) Will HDMI output not work at all for me? Or only upscaling on commercially released dvd's won't work as I've read on some sites.
My screen is only 30" so hdmi isn't a huge deal, I'm more interested in using the USB functionality here, so I can live without hdmi if need be. Thanks

It'll run throught the composite RCA outputs also, I do that to get my surround sound instead of using the outputs on my TV.
