    Hi All,

Can I use the Stream Processing feature in DVD Decryptor so I can choose the audio languages and just use IFOEDit to create my IFO files after the ripping?

    Regards,

    Hi All,

This is the process I am following to rip my movies:

    1. Rip using DVDDecryptor (Stream Processing Audio and Video) Watch out for the 1GB filedize in options!
    2. Rename the files so they start as VTS_01_1.VOB
    3. Run IFOEDIT , select Create IFO, load VTS_01_1.VOB as the first one and save.
    4. Load VTS_01_0.IFO in IFOEDIT and press GET VTS Sectors.
    5. BURN THE DVD!!!!!

I wasn't able to get WINDVD nor CinePLayer to play the files from the directory, but worked perfectly from the DVD-ROM. But after burning the DVD (Using Pioneer DVD-RW and KHyperMedia DVD-R media) all I got wat choppy video jumping from chapter and completly unviewable!

Can you please tell me if I am missing something?

    Regards,

    Jose

i used ifoedit for the first time the other day, i used dvddecryptor to give me an .ac3 file and an .m2v file. in ifoedit i click author dvd, drop in the video and audio, let it go and rewrite the files (took about 30 mins) and then burn the resulting directory. easy.

    Hi flaninacupboard,

I tried that but my .vob files are jumping like crazy. I open the .m2v file and the video is ok, but the .vob files created by IFOEdit aren't.

    Any hint?

    Thanks for the help!

    jfebust - you missing a step....in step 3-4

Here's a guide at doom9.net to walk you through the DVDRipping process

    http://www.doom9.org

Click on the link "The Guides" and there are a lot of step by steps guides there for you.
