    i converted spiderman into a svcd but the first part of the movie is out of sync most of the time and the second one is fine. the original avi files are also fine but as soon as i convert it into mpeg with tmpeg the sounds starts to lag off

    plz help me

    TMPGEnc is a bad encoder if you ask me... it's good when it works, but that rarely ever happens.

    Try using a different program to encode. I forgot what some of them are, but if you search google for "avi to mpeg converter" I'm sure you'll find something.
