  1. I noticed under the "UDF" tab in Nero, one can select different file system modes, specifically: UDF 1.02, UDF 1.50, and UDF 2.01. The default is UDF 1.02.

Anyone know what the different modes do and what the implications are for set-top DVD players?

  3. It appears that you should select 1.02 to remain compatible with the widest range of players. If you are burning only for yourself try all three on a DVD-RW and select the one that works best for you although there should be little or no difference in performance.

  5. I assumed 1.02 would give the widest range of compatibility; however, I would like to read about the differences between the formats. Anyone have a URL?
