  1. I give up....

Been trying to convert a downloaded avi file from Kazaa to DVD-R and I am not having any luck. I realize it was probably intended to be converted into a VCD but I want to put both halves on a DVD-R. I have the program "My DVD" and can import the file but it says its too big?

    Any suggestions??

  7. Try this... Little bit complicated but it worked for me.

How to author with menu and chapters without re-encoding ?

maybe burn it to VCD if tmpgenc is so insistent, then rip the VCD (if that is possible?)

then try to use tmpgenc again.

    heh heh

  9. Thanks
Changing the priority worked and it plays fine. Made one coaster with my encoded video and spruce up....
    1. Forgot to use the interlace mode in TMPEnc (looks crappy)
    2. Forgot to set it to the source 16:9 (only see part of the video on TV)
    3. Lost all sound.....but not sure why

Nothing easy about this stuff but is sure is fun.

I am not sure if you looked into my post.... But this might help you... I "lost" sound too and this was solution for SpruceUp.
