  1. Hello all,

first of all i want to say thx a lot for all the help provided here to my questions on the forum (wich were 0, yes no capable answer from u all), but nevermind i have managed myself, so i think its good to share my experience in this all dvdr stuff, here we go, and it works perfect for me.

note: i dont like menus, so screw them

    steps dvd-9:
    --------------

1 - Dvd2dvdr (choose files u want to rip, pay attention to subs, cause sometimes u think u choose the right one but its not, if this appens, work with subrip to see the pics of the map sub u want and if it corresponds)

2 - once the process of dvd2dvdr is finished (including CCE too, that is autimatic choosed by dvd2dvdr), u must have 5 files (.ac3, *NEW.m2v, .sup, celltimes.txt, original.ifo)

3 - Author them all in ifoedit

4 - copy colours pgc from original.ifo and past them to final ifo)

    5 - get vts sectors

    6 - save

    7 - preview in ifoedit

8 - burn AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS using STOMP CD NOW (DONT USE NERO!!!! SUXXX)

    9 - end

NOTE: try to read some stuff od cdnow 1st, and pay attention to OPTIONS!

well, i think this is better as good, i really dont like menus so i dont want them (its only crap), try to read some manuals, read some forums, spend sometime in searching...

u dont need to thank me, ill be very glad if u at least read this post and try to understand it

cheers, and marry christmas to anyone

  2. Thank you trx,

You are not alone. I also, have posted questions in this forum, and, questions remain unanswered for days, and, when someone replies is just to point you to an unrelated or outdated link that doesn't help at all.

But, thank you, that you have posted info that helps.

I have been using Nero to burn and until now I know that DVDs burnt with Nero do not play in Xbox machines.

Please see my post titled "Very disappointed"

What exactly goes in the DVD-R for the movie to play in the standalone DVD player.

It seems very straightforward, decrypt the movie to the hard drive and split it, but for some reason my movies don't play.

I'm currently using a Sony DRU-500A burner. It burns everything.
I'm using General use GQ DVD-Rs from Frys.

    Thank you.

I myself have asked questions that take a few days to answer but generally the answer does come from someone.
