    I seem to be having problems with playback in colour. My set up is multi system so NTSC and PAL shouldn't cause any problems. All my SVCD's seem to play in black and white. Any suggestions?

    Sounds like an NTSC-PAL problem to me. What is you native format NTSC ? You sure your DVD can play PAL and your TV can display it. Does it play in coulour ok on your PC.

    Problem solved seemed it was the player, Thanks anyway.

    Have a new problem now I bought a Philips 633 DVD player but the region hack on this site is in a foreign language. Anyone able to translate it? Pretty please.
