How does one remove Logos and other stuff on a video clip ?

Hi all, I captured a few Music Video from our local channel and wonder how I am able to remove their logo on the video clip ?

I tried using Virtual Dub with LogoRemove plugin but I still couldn't remove the logo.

Also is it possible to remove "censored" material from a video clip ?
I mean Jerry Springer Show has placed "censors" on their video clip.

The only way to remove anything from an encoded picture is to crop it out, which obviously is more obtrusive than it was to begin with. The logoaway filter is the best filter I have ever seen for giving the impression of removing unwanted static objects, and you have already noticed that it is still far from perfect. Sorry, using these sorts of blending filters are the only way to do this.

The information under those censors, they are referred to as mosaics, is gone and cannot be recovered. Digital video doesnt work in layers like that. Just because something was added later that doesnt mean you can just remove it and go back to the way it was before. What you see is what you get.

you can if the video is letterboxed and the logo is in the black bar. you can just crop it out.

I don't know much about letterbox so I think it would be easier for me to post a request on newsgroup asking for the Music Videos
