Remove Logos

I am new here, so cannot find where to ask the question. On a .avi movie(or other), how do you remove the logo. For instance. I am downloading now, and there is a small MGM in the lover right corner. Is there anyway to remove this?

Thanks Balrick, but much to my suprise, when I opened it, and played back in VLC the MGM logo was no longer there. Happy Days!
