  1. I was using Nero to encode my vbideo and it was coming out upside down and backwards so after searching the forum was told to download and use TMPGenc to encode instead. All my movies are .AVI and when I try to select them to encode it tells me can't open, invalid file. I'm going nuts. Please help. [/b]

  2. Go to Options>Enviromental Settings>choose the VFAPI-plug in tab. Raise your direct show to 2. Do this by clicking on it and then right clicking on it and hit raise priority. Do it until it goes to 2. This will allow you to open AVI files. Hoped this helps. If you dont know how to do this......you gotta along way to go
