  1. HI - I'm burning VCD's with Nero and everything is fine other than some lag in the audio. Is there an easy fix to this problem? Please try to respond in baby talk, most of the posts even in the newbie section were complicated. Thanks!!!!

    Okay, if you are starting with a AVI file, you separate the audio from the video while the file is in Virtual Dub. The is the procedure: Select
    File-->Save Wav.

    Once the file has been saved, load TMPGEnc, close the wizard if it opens. Select Load. Select Video Input Browse and select your original AVI file. Select Audio Input Browse and select your new wave file. Select the VCD template that is appropiate for you (PAL, NTSC).

    Select Start. The resulstant file should be VCD compliant with audio in synch. Use Nero to burn your VCD.
    Hello.

  3. In addition to what Tommyknocker says....
    When using Virtualdub to extract the audio,remember to set...
    Audio > Full Processing Mode > Audio > Compression > PCM No Compression > Audio > Conversion > No Change (if its already 44100 and you are making a VCD ....or check 44100) File > Save WAV
