In addition to the thread created by tygrus2000, I thought it interesting to note which movies you were after which hadn't been released on dvd yet.
These are the ones you no doubt toil over in capturing from vhs and converting to mpeg2/dvd, just to preserve them in the event of them never being released on dvd
You never know, hopefully they have been released and someone know's where to get them
    For my part....
    * Where's that Fire
    * Indianna Trilogy (yes, I know it's due sometime in the next decade!)
    * Hobson's Choice
    ...

  10. SW trilogy (Original versions)
Raiders Trilogy NOTE: single layer ones on e-bay, ok
High Risk NOTE: don't but the one off e-bay, it's a terrible capture.
    Crossroads (No not Britney)
    Honeymooners classic 39
    Aliens non special edition
    Blade Runner non director's cut
    Head office
    The Prisoner of Second Avenue
    Greased Lightening

How about re-issues ( stuff that's no longer available)
    Brainstorm?

Buy.com has it, but it's out of stock, so they don't have it, but it's listed, even tho they don't have it, in stock, yet, they might, maybe...
Don't give in to DVD2ONE, that leads to the dark side.

Sixteen Candles! It was on DVD, but is no longer available.

As for TV Shows, I want Macgyver, Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy, The Head....there's more, but I can't think of them now.

  15. Hum.... No one requested StarWars Holiday Special?

There was a short series with a detective in the future. Was intersting to have a cop show with a pritty decent scifi background. Dont remember the series name. Have them on tape.

And last, going to make everyone ill but how about "Nanny and the Professor." Light intertainment but funny at times.

these are movies that aren't available on DVD that i'd like to see released or re-released. coincidentally, i've converted most of these movies to DVD from the laserdisc

    Flight of the Navigator
    D.A.R.Y.L.
    Explorers
    The Wizard
    Vice Versa
    Back to the Beach
    Howard the Duck
    Nirvana: Live Tonight Sold Out
    Aladdin and the two sequels
    Song Of the South
    Cool As Ice
    Hot To Trot
    Night of the Creeps
    Eddie Murphy Delirious & Raw
    Indiana Jones Trilogy
    Critters
    Rain Man
    Across the Tracks
    Scarface
Laserdiscs are cool, but laserdiscs on DVD-Rs are cooler.

Never found Sienfeld in the least bit funny. Or Friends for that matter. But Murphy Brown ....

I suppose that the most sought after movies would be the Star Wars Originals and Indiana Jones trilogy.
