Help. AC3 problems with SpruceUp, DVD2AVI, and AC3Fix

I trying to use SpruceUp to convert my m2v and ac3 back to vob. It give me a SYNC word error. I used ac3fix on the ac3 and SpruceUp still gives an error about wrong frame size. However, When I use dvd2avi to extract the wav (too big), no errors. I like to use the ac3 instead of the wav since it is much smaller and I can still use a larger bitrate m2v video file.

I tried Be Sweet, but I don't know how to extract all the vobs at 1 click to produce just 1 ac3 file. I even look at smartripper and dvddecrypter to see if I can extract ac3 from all the vob. On both smartripper and dvddecrypter, there are many program chains. The movie is close to 4 hours long (foriegn). The programs chains breaks up into segment.

I know that dvd2avi has error with extracting the audio. I need help with extact an ac3 of all the vobs (done like dvd2avi) that will work with SpruceUp.

Just use smartripper and go to the stream processing tab, select the audio stream you want and then choose demux to extra file, this will create an .ac3 file for you straight from the original DVD

I did use smartripper. When I insert the DVD into my drive, smartripper breaks the entire 4 hours movie into many program chain. The largest is 1:53 minutes long.

If I were to use smartripper or dvd decrypter, how do I extract 1 ac3 from so many program chain. dvd2avi does that easily, but it always produce a corrupt ac3 file.

I don't know if this help, but what I did was ......
1. use smartripper stream processing to rip to movie to .m2v and ac3
2. us spruce up to produce vob file
If the file is small enough to fit onto a dvdr burn away otherwise you have to transcode to make the file smaller.

transcoding..
1. using ReMpeg produce lots of artifacts on the screen and I tried all sort of combo to make this work and it takes a long time but the result is the same. I use tmpenc and the quality is much better..
2. with the vob file that I have created from the process above, I then use dvd2avi to demux the audio using the method http://www.vcdhelp.com/miniDVDAC3/minidvdac3.htm, then I use spruce up to make my vob file again.. I din't use the BBmpeg

I didn't follow the whole method in the link coz I don't know how to use IFOedit to extract just the vob file.. The process take a little bit of time but I am satisfied with the result so far.....
