some movies i ripped comes out fuzzy such as manga or asian chinese movies i use dvdx & have to use deinterlace filter setting it to interpolate can any1 help me is there some other way to rip these dvds without using the filter???

i'm guessing the video type for those particular movies is NTSC, rather than FILM...
this means you cannot force film and then try to de-interlace to get rid of the lines...if you do that, you will effectively REMOVE HALF YOUR VERTICAL RESOLUTION, which is why your rip looks fuzzy
you either have to IVTC your rip...or not use forced film and make your output 29.97 fps interlaced, rather than 23.976 fps w/ 3:2 pulldown
i'm not sure if the specifics apply to dvdx (i use smartripper->dvd2avi->tmpgenc).....but the general idea about the fuzziness is true
