    Got a new Directv receiver. Hooked it up and nothing but black fuzz. Nothing!!! Any thoughts? My son knocked the old one off the tv so I hooked up the new one and I'm getting the same thing. HELP!!!

    It sounds like the cable came out of the connector or a pin got bent, buy a new cable or give Directv a call.
