  1. I need some help on how to cut out the intro and credits out of an mpeg so that I can get it to fit on one 650mb CD. I can only use one certain type of cd-rw to play in my dvd player and they are 650mb cd-rw's. So if you can point me in the right direction or explain to me here PLEASE!!!!! Thanx.

  2. It's better call 74 mins CDRW, becuz you can fit 74 mins or 740MB of mpeg1/mpeg2 in one 74 mins CDR/W.

You can use a lot of software to cut your mpeg file. To be easy and most popular in my view is TMPGEnc (both free and Plus version). Follow this guide if you haven't read yet. http://www.vcdhelp.com/tmpgencedit.htm

    TMPGEnc

File > Mpeg tools > Merge and cut

Change drop down combo to "MPEG 1 video CD"
Click Add to add your mpeg

    Select range you want...

Highlight movie in box and click edit
Click { for start and } for end
    Click OK
    Type name\path in Output
    Click run
