    hi i hope that someone can help, i have been using virtualdub to check for bad frames on a piece of avi video, it tells me that there are bad frames, how do i know what ones they are?,how do i view the bad frames?, how do i delete them?? and what difference will it make to the finished film, ie will there be a chunk missing in the film???

    please help if you can

    From the VDub Help section:
    Deleting JUNK chunks from a file

    VirtualDub never puts JUNK chunks in any AVI file it creates, so the solution is to turn off all processing:


    · Set the video processing mode to Direct Stream Copy.
    · Set the audio processing mode to Direct Stream Copy.
    · Open the source file, and save to the output file.



    Audio interleaving options work in this mode, and video range selection works to the nearest key frame, so you can re-interleave or trim off ends at the same time.
