  1. my problem is that when i rip a movie to my hard drive instead of making an .AC3 file and a .M2V file it makes an .AC3 file and a .MPEG file. so when i load the .MPEG file into spruce up it doesn't load the .AC3 file. i changed the names of the two files to have the same name.
the funny thing is on another computer in my house everything works fine, just on my computer it makes an .MPEG file. i have

    p4 1.9
    512 mb memory
60gb 7200rpm wd caviar formatted NTFS
    pioneer A04
    win xp pro

any insight on this quirk would be greatly appreciated
    thanks

  2. That is wierd, never had that problem...

However, to make it useable in spruce, Just use mpeg tools to demultiplex the mpeg, delete whatever audio stream it produces, rename the resulting .m2v file the same as the ac3 file, import to spruce and you should be in business.o
