I am using VD 1.4.10 with 1.4.9 handlers and get an "This is not an AVI file error" when trying to frameserve into CCE SP //SSG Version 2.6.2.
Using this link "http://www.vcdhelp.com/avitovcdfoolproofusingcce/" from this site, it states to save file as *.vdr. I even tried saving as *.vdr.avi and still no dice.
Anyone got an idea?
Sorry if this has been beat to death already, I am new to the site.
(and it's a GREAT site by the way!!!)

This question has only a few breaths left. CCE 2.62 SP doesn't read AVS or VDR files. For that, you need 2.50 SP or use Link2 utility to work around.

try saving your frameserve file with an .avi extention instead of .vdr extention. may or not work.

As poplar said, ccesp 2.62 does not read *.avs and *.vdr. You need either ccesp 2.25, 2.50, 2.64.01.09 or 2.64.01.10.
If you use other versions you have to wrap the scripts either with Link2 or VFAPI.
