Problem with burning DVDs on Power2g, "not a valid file" error, please help

I just upgraded to Power2go version 6. When I try to burn an .avi file from my hardrive onto a DVD-R, a message says "(filename) is not a valid file, and therefore cannot be added to the compilation." Please help.

If you are just burning it as a data file, my guess would be the filename itself has illegal characters or is too long. Otherwise just about everything is data and there are no rules whether it's a AVI or a .exe. If it still fails, try ImgBurn instead.
