  1. I have been looking for some dvd help all over the net. I hope my search has ended here. How many people are acutally making backups of there dvd's instead of making 2 disc svcd's?? I am trying to backup my copy of Resident Evil to a dvd-r. I have ripped the entire cd using smart ripper. I have ripped the audio and video that I want. It will fit on a dvd-r with out re-encoding. My problem is that the vts_01_1.vob is not needed. (it does not contain any of the movie that I wan) It is like 800 meg or so. I tried burning with nero and prassi, but it will not let me cause it needs this file. So I put in a dummy file with that name. This did not work also. Do I need to edit my ifo files so that it reads the correct size?

    Thanks

  2. i think you only need like the video_ts files and the vts_01_0 files. you shouldn't need the vts_01_1 files so you can take those out and then "get vts sectors" so that you dont' get any illegal navigation errors. after that, you should be okay i think.
