    I have just downloaded half of a film as an avi and tried to play it but it will not play. I have downloaded the Codecs and I just want to watch the film either on my computer on my my dvd player. can someone please help me? I want to burn it to vcd.

    its a separate avi coz theres a part 1 and part 2, part one on one vcd, part 2 on the other?

    if it doesn't play on your pc in WMP then you won't be able to make a vcd. do you have the nimo codec pack? as it has most codecs. if you have nimo installed and it still does not work,then i suggest opening it up in vdub and check the file info to see if it is some sort of weird codec. 8)
