2 pass tmpgenc. What does it mean???

I have used tmpgenc and vcd easy and a little virtualdub, And I was wondering what people are referencing in the forums when they say they are doing 2 passes.

Thanks for the speedy reply. If I understand it right, You rerun the file through the tmpgenc twice??
