I am trying to extract audio from a 2 cd divx that I joined.
I joined the two parts with Virtual Dub, direct stream audio and video.
The new file seems fine when watching. I could extract the audio to wav from each of the two movie halves. But now after I joined the two halves and attempt to extract audio to wav I get the following V D error:
ACM reported error on audio decompress (b)
Any whiz out there had this one??

I have worked around my problem in case anyone was interested.
Instead of joining the two movie halves, direct stream audio and video, Save Avi, and then opening the new larger avi to extract the audio, I open the first avi, appended the second avi, then selected full processing audio, convert to 44 kHz, Save Wav. This extacts the full audio without joining the two avi's.
For some wacky reason this worked when the normal method coughed up errors.
