Hi,
I captured in AVI then opened it up in GoldWave and applied a preset filter to remove hiss.
I then saved the amedned WAV file and run it through TMPEG with my video to create a better sounding VCD.
Fine...
But, all of a sudden, when I apply the filters in ANY sound editor, whether it be GoldWave or CoolEdit or anything else... the sound distorts a little and sounds as if it is slightly under water. A sort of mechanical sound.
I have no idea why this has just happens as everything was working fine.
I have tried different quality settings but after applying the filter the sound still changes instead of just cutting a little of the hiss like it used to.
This is all very bizzare and I wondered if anybody had experienced this before?
Many thanks indeed!
Gray
