Brazil want's a revenge against France. I hope the players don't play like dead like in 1998 decision. Pay attention in Ronaldo, Ronadinho, Rivaldo and Denilson (Sometimes he makes magic with the ball). They are our best players. The Brazilian people are furious with Romario out of the CUP.

Sweden? Good team but it's in the Death Group.

I've made a table of the CUP. The problem it's in portuguese. I don't have time to translate it to english now but if you don't bother...

  7. Soccer, and /or football, are both sports. Sports are evil. Sports are activities that are mere variations of people beating each other up. Not only will I not watch the games, but when there are riots in the stands (as there inevitably seem to be at these events) I'll smile. The violence the fans wanted will be visited upon them - a Rod Serling "Twilight Zone"irony!

Those hooligans have wrecked the image of football. not all football fans want to cause violence you know. it's just a tiny percentage of them that cause trouble. and these people arent real football fans- they're thugs.

What do you think of one of your own countrymen trying to stop Sweden from progressing in the world cup. I am of course talking of Sven Goran Ericsson, who has done a superb job as England manager, and will hopefully lead us to a victory on Sunday. I'm sure, however, there must be a small part of him that would like Sweden to win.

Is Freddie Ljungberg fit yet, hope not. Personally I would like to see England and Sweden qualify for the second round, cant stand those cheating Argies (just talking footy here).

Anyway I will think of you when I am in the pub Sunday morning celebrating a superb England victory :P

    Cheers

soccer is football for everyone but Canada and the US.
By the way Brazil doesn't need a revenge against France, it's the judges they'll want a revenge on... Need i remind you france didn't even qualify last world cup?

  23. Sorry, but I really don't watch sports - unless it's women's figure skating or women's gymnastics- and I only watch those because I'm a pervert. I get too hyper when I see someone playing, and want to play myself (not with myself). I see nothing wrong with anyone else watching sports, though.

A Nuclear War you say? Who cares? The World Cup has just kicked off!
Just watched France lose to Senagal 1-0. ROTFLMAO!!!! Bartez is the new Bruce Grobellar: World class one minute, Clown Prince the the next.
Hope the Brazilians can sort themselves out and work that old Brazilian Magic again because lately they haven't done too well; they barely made it to the World Cup! For the first time in ages I would say that Argentina has the strongest South American side. And as much as I hate to say it, at the moment my money goes on Argentina to win. I hope that England Vs Argentina turns out to be like their last match (apart from the result=), it had to be one of the best matches that I have ever watched. Not better than watching Germany go down 5-1 to England though
If England get through the first round, they have a slim chance of winning, so I just prey that we can chalk up 3 points after our first match. Although a draw may be more realistic as Sweden do have a solid team... however I do, *really*, hope that England beat Sweden because I told Baldrick the other day that we would beat them.
One thing for sure though: nothing is guaranteed in Group F.
