  1. Got a small problem, if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

When I try to svideo-out the video from my camcorder to the s-video-in on my tv, i get no picture. The svideo-in on the tv is input 1 and on vid1 there is no picture...the same goes for all the other channels.....I've tried many things, such as disconnecting all inputs to the tv besides the svideo-in, so as to avoid conflicts, still nothing...maybe someone who has knowledge on svideo tvs and is aware of certain specifications would be able to help me out?

    thanks :P

On some sets you have to goto the menu and select which video in to use...mine has a front, back...then regular cable...
What type of tv set is it?

  7. What is the model number of your RCA television?

I ask this so that I can go do a Google search for a PDF copy of your TV manual, and possibly find the solution to the problem. It wil probably turn out that the manual states that you tune your TV to some particular channel (i.e. 90,91,92 - RCAs are usually 90 - mine is) in order to get the S-Video input on screen. Or, there might be a menu option to select the S-Video input.
