Roxio VideoPack 5.0 accepts muxed MPEG-2/AC3 files but is very fussy about the encode/mux settings you use. (And it's quite a difficult program to master.)

SpruceUp accepts 5.1 AC3 files, as long as they are elementary and have exactly the same filename as your M2V files. Unfortunately SpruceUp is no longer commercially available.

ReelDVD accepts 5.1 AC3 files but it's v. expensive and only runs on Win2K.

DVDit PE accepts 2.0 AC3 files only.

    Hope this helps.

  3. doesnt sound like there are really any good options for this...too bad. it would be nice if there was a program that could just take an mpeg and convert it to VOB files, then i could just burn it with nero. oh well, thx for the suggestions.
