  1. I recently tried DVD2SVCD and found the quality to be very good, however the process is just click and go and I would like more control over the end result i.e where the movie is split and the option to only encode 1 cd at a time rather than 50 hours to do all 3 cd`s at once!

I am familier with the settings in TMPGEnc but I cannot get the same quality from it that I get using TMPGenc through DVD2SVCD.

I have inputed the setting from the automaticaly generated file from DVD2SVCD (svcdinfo.txt) but still not the same quality. Does anyone know exactly what settings I should be using or how I can find Out.

I have searched the forums but cant find anything relating to this topic, I have also tried the DVD2SVCD forum but found them to be very unfriendly!!

I also emailed Sefy levy who suggested this forum to me

I guess what I am asking for is the DVD2SVCD Template for TMPGEnc.

Thanx in advance for ANY help whatsoever

  3. Thanx, I didnt know the settings were in there, I looked and that explains some things but, Im still lost on a few others like for instance on DVD2SVCD under the `Conversion` tab You can set the Deinterlace setting to Telecide (PAL) but in TMPGEnc I cant find that setting. I know its probably under sometihng more technical than that but I just cant find It........I guess I should be on the newbie forum.Thanx for the reply anyway.

  4. The settings used is a mixture of tmpgenc settings and AVISynth settings. To get the full view of what is being done open the AVS file in notepad.
