    My input is a movie AVI file from the Internet. I'm using
    TMPGEnc with all defaults. I try to convert my AVI to MPEG-1.
    So, my conversion is done in about 30 minutes but I have no video at all
    only sound. I downloaded all latest version of TMPGEnc 2.54 with plug-in
    and Divx 5.02. Still TMPGEnc produces MPEG file that has just sound.
    Yes, I did check an appropriate box(video + sound).
    Any idea?

    One idea, use the search function at the top of the page, it is very useful and you will almost certainly find the help you need.

    I had this problem before. I solved it by splitting the audio form teh AVI using Virtual Dub. Just make sure your conversion settings are OK. It worked fine for me!
