  1. Hi,

    I have that problem:

I have a SVCD and I copied it to the harddisk in order to play it directly from the PC with a Software-DVD player.

So I extracted the MOVIE file with ISOBUSTER to the harddisc, but WIndows Media Player does not play it because it is a SVCD-File! So I got Power-DVD but that program only supports inserted CDs or DVDs in the CD-Rom tray.

Is there a possibility to play an extracted SVCD Movie file with a Software DVD player directly from the harddisc?

    Many thanks in advance

    Susan

  2. It is possible to open files with Powerdvd, just choose filemode instead of discmode.

you don't need to do that...just copy over the file avseq01.mpg from the mpeg2 directory on the SVCD disc...you can play this directly in powerDVD/winDVD
