capturing avi

i ve got aver tv and i can capture only mpeg1 and mpeg2
i m using its own software to do that
does anyone know what do i need or to capture avi file
or how can i capture avi with avertv please

man.....your at the forum of a damn vcdhelp page
it has guides on everything from capturing avi to authoring n burning a vcd file
they are there for a reason.

dont mean to be rude but when i got here the first thing i did was read all the great guides the people made[the ones i needed anyway]... they take you trough it step by step..

this forum is merely here as an additional tool to ask about problems etc.
but obviously not things that are completely explained in guides, they are there for a reason.
