    Hi

I have a video file (attached view) that I have tried several times to convert to 16:9 aspect, which I think looks better (ie. full screen, 2nd attachment) on my 42'' TV. I could just press the aspect on my remote, but I want to conquer this!!!

I've tried altering the aspect to 16:9 with AVC, Movavi and HD Video Converter Factory, but it just won't budge?

I convert usually to 1920x720 or 1080 and am at that point where free downloads will either watermark or limit the usage?

Simply put, both are already 16:9 (do the maths)

But the top one is 4:3 in a 16:9 frame hence the bars. You can crop them away and crop height from the active video but then you lose information.

Yeah, figured that. I didn't want to lose any screen, but thanks.

Or you can crop + stretch, but then everything will look fat.
