.Avi to .Wav sounds like crap.

Why does my audio sound like crap. I have tried all the guides and they don't work. The sound when converted to .mpa is scratchy but audio on .Avi sounds perfect it is VBR MP3. I am not new here so don't talk to me like a little kid like the rest of the post I have read.

Have you tried open your video with virtualdub and do "SAVE WAV"???
how you're doing audio convertion?

Yes I use VDub to save to .wav and have tried converting with TMPGEnc, CCE, toolame. The audio is really bad like when I first started to convert movies. Like I said the .Avi sounds perfect.

The .Wav file sounds a little like crap but nothing compared to the .mpa. The .mpa is the ultimate in crappy sound.
