[Attachment 47224 - Click to enlarge]Hi everyone, I'm still new to editing and I'm realizing a lot of my time is spent rendering. I'm using plug-ins (see attached picture), and anytime I make a small edit or adjustment, I need to render again. It's taking a really long time and really slowing down my editing progress.
If anyone could help me in some tips on how to speed up the rendering process. Am I able to work in a "safe mode" or disengage the plug-ins to render, and then add back later. It's taking many hours and I have a lot of videos to edit.
Any help or guidance is much appreciated.
Thank you,
Nicky

There is a "global fx mute" toggle button for the preview in the program monitor that enables/disables all effects. It's not show in your screenshot, but you have to add the button to the GUI by pressing the "+" button on the lower right hand side of the program monitor
Or you can use and adjustment layer, and apply the effects to the adjustment layer instead , so you can toggle on/off easily by muting the layer -
Another option, if it's available in Premier, is to select the section with the changes in and just render that. No need to disable any applied effects then.
