    Hi to all I have just ripped one chapter of a dvd using dvd2svcd the picture from the hard drive is fantastic even with just 2 passes.
    but when I try to burn it on winon cd im getting a message
    Invalid muxer rate (7708) and is not suitable for vidio cd.
    I still burnt it and it plays back via power dvd very jerky the picture is still bril any ideas.
    also my encoding transcoding is very slow about 26 hours for a 2 hour movie I dont mind the time it takes but at about 75% my computer comes to nearly a halt I know ive only got a duron 800 but would a 1.6 or 1.7 amd be any good for ripping im not sure what cpu to buy any tips please thanx keith ----newbie
    ps can i burn using clone cd!! which is the best burning software....

    Hi kpawley,

    I can't answer your first question. But on the secound one. Encoding time is related to the filters used and the speed of your CPU. The faster the CPU the shorter your encoding time. For a 2 hour movie encoding with this filters Inverse telecine, ghost redutionand sharpen edge and toolame doing the audio. It takes about 5 hours with an AMD Athlon XP +2000.
