    Hello!
    Is it possible to change (lowering) the brightness on VCD format without converting it to AVI, changing the brightness and converting it back to VCD and loosing the quality?

    Hello,

    Try a software called ReMPEG2v152 (or another version).
    http://www.doom9.org//Soft21/Encoders/MPEG2/ReMPEG2v152.zip

    You can change the bitrate, crop, change the brightness, etc.....

    Remember to load only the video of your VCD.... no t the mpg....
