I heavily rely on this program to convert HD material to SD format which it does well.
Today I discovered a pop-up error message.
Rebooting the computer and reinstalling the program did not help.
Typically I open a avisynth script file which in turn launches the master video file.
So, instead of opening the master video file, it gave me this:
Please refer to a screenshot of the message which should be uploaded and visible.
I cannot put any more material on my local cable station until this mystery can be resolved.
Thanks for any solutions so I can return to normal.

Are you calling any function(s) that you haven't called successfully before?
-
VirtualDub is working fine. Your problem is in AviSynth. And it's telling you exactly what's wrong.

I only use Virtual dub to convert video from one format to another. No other uses.
I only have basic knowledge of the program inner workings, so I'm not sure what you mean by "function".Last edited by Canon GL-2 Guy; 7th Mar 2017 at 21:02. Reason: Changed my response

So Jagabo, the floor is yours. Does Avisynth needs to be reinstalled? For a very long time I have not used that program. What do I do please? The script involved was donated to me years ago and until now has worked wonderfully. Did it get corrupted? Is that possible? What is the error message mean? PS: I'm not a programmer or tech minded.
