Hello,
The VCR won't work anymore for some reason. It will power on and on the display I see flashing "d" letter below SP. Inserting the cassette will eject.
Does anyone have an idea about the problem?
Thanks

Is there any moisture inside the vcr ?? The letter d should stand for dew
Inside the machine. -
Not that I know of. I've not opened it yet. However my place has been quite chilled inside due to weather.
If I open it, where should I look for moisture specifically?
Thanks -
Oh my goodness, I opened the top cover and now it's working
Many Thanks for your clue.. da dew
Not sure where the dew sensor is but I guess the chilled top cover might have caused the sensor go off?
Do you have happen to have the service manual by any chance or know where I can get it?
Thanks
