Hello to the forum!
My wife and I have been doing Let's Play's for about a year now. We use an Elgato HD60 pro, everything has been going smooth. Recently we decided to make our lives easier in editing so we moved the HD60 pro to a different computer got everything set up again but this time when we convert to MP4 we lose anywhere between a few seconds to a few mins from the recording, depending on the length of the recording. We use the Elgato software to convert the file. I have tried other software and the same thing happens. I have contacted Elgato but it seems like I have stumped them. Any info on why we are losing footage would greatly appreciated!
The specs for the computer are
Starting computer (worked great)
i7-4790k
16 GB ram
EVGA gtx 980
MSI gaming 7 MOBO
120 GB SSD
1 TB HHD
Computer Elgato was moved to
i7-4790k
16 GB ram
EVGA gtx 970 ftw
MSI gaming 7 MOBO
120 GB SSD
5 TB External
Thanks again,
Jon

More likely an issue in your process or the software configuration. As you are having the software perform a conversion, verify your output settings.
