NO ONE HAS SOLVED THIS YET! AUDIO VCD

I AM TRYING TO CONVERT THE AUDIO ON ALI MOVIE DOWNLOADED FROM EDK GUIDE. I GET AN ERROR WHEN TRYING TO PLAY IT ON WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER (UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD APPROPRIATE DECOMPRESSOR) IF I TRY TO CONVERT IT USING VDUB I GAT AN ERROR SAYING "THE REQUESTED AUDIO IS NOT COMPATIBBLE WITH THE INPUT FORMAT" I HAVE TRIED ALL THE PREVIOUS SUGGESTIONS WITH NO JOY . I HAVE DOWNLOADED ALL THE CODECS I CAN FIND STILL NO JOY. HAS ANYONE ACTUALLY CONVERTED THIS MOVIE TO VCD? PLEASE REPLY AND LET ME KNOW HOW YOU DID IT.

Have you actually converted it to 44Khz stereo?
Try using TMPGEnc......does it for you!
I have done a DivX that was in AC3 to SVCD , no problems!

first off, dude stop yelling :D
secondly, that rip if I am correct has tons of probs. the audio is a tough ac3 and the video is stretched to the wrong aspect ratio. headache ac3 I believe is what I used for the audio. there is also a guide here from our friends at doom9 that may help

just to let everyone who has viewed this page
i have solved the problem. it goes something like this -using vdub go direct stream copy / save wav. rename the file to ac3 then convert it to wav using a the tool suggested above "head ac3". then convert to mpg using tmpgenc with the new wav file as the audio souce.
